Internet Explorer

Why does the Internet Explorer window dissappear on some websites I go to? Has anybody else had or have this problem? Can anybody help me?

I'm not sure exactly what the problem is... I've had probably the same problem as you're describing before when trying to access certain websites. It might have to do with security settings.. maybe you're firewall or whatever appended it to the list of 'blocked', 'disallowed', .. etc. websites.
I never have/did find a fix for it.. I'd honestly say it comes and goes.
Try rebooting??

After probably 5 hours of online chatting from HP support and all their ridiculous troubleshooting methods I finally figured it out on my own. They kept telling me to repair Windows XP, or Internet Explorer. I was even told to reformat my hard drive. I've done that before and it's not fun. I find it amusing that all tech supports do is tell me to delete or reinstall. At any rate, I just updated my Java plug-ins. It was that simple! To bad HP couldn't have told me that and not wasted my time! Thanks for the help guys!
