What error are you getting?
What program are you using to upload? Have you ever been able to upload?

SecretIkon, have you ever tried using the standard Windows ftp? This could help determine if you are having problems with your browser or if you are being hindered by your router. I would suggest trying it, so that we know what the next step would be.
In case you haven't done it before, just do this: Start->Run cmd (open command line box) ftp open (your host name here) you should be prompted for your username. enter it. enter your password. If you can get in, then it is related to your browser. If you cannot log in, most likely it is your router. |

Open IE, go to Tools, Internet Options, Advanced. Scroll down and make sure the box that says "Use passive FTP (for firewall and DSL modem compatiblility)" is checked. Check it if it is not, and then reboot and try your upload again.

tried that and it still doesn't work...i took my laptop to my gfs house and tried uploading stuff to my host with her internet and it works simply fine. she had a d-link wireless router...so my final guess is it has to be my router.
