Radeon 9200 TV-Out + Dual Screen Problem
Hi,
I have a Radeon 9200SE and it has a vga, dvi, and a tv-out port. I took a dvi to vga converter and turned the dvi port into a 2nd vga. So what i need to do is have both the vga ports active and have the tv-out be a clone of the 2nd vga port. here is the problem 1) if i enable the two vga ports in the catalyst control, the output of the tv-out becomes all wacky. the screen jumps all over the place. i'm assuming its cause the frequency out isn't correct. this is the same output when i enable the tv-out as the second monitor and leave it on "use regional settings" for the tv-out mode. 2) if i enable the tv-out and set it as ntsc, then everything displays fine through the tv-out, unfortunately, now i can't have my second vga displaying a clone of the tv-out. so i was wondering if anyone knows how to get this working. is it just a matter of getting the tv-out to display at the proper frequency? or are there any other settings that i can change to get this to work? any help would be appreciated. thanks Derrick |
