Doesnt anyone need help?

LOL, I almost thought Windows was working for everyone since we havent had anybody w/ tech help requests for such a long time..

so here's one...
I've got my TV hooked up to my computer via SVideo, what settings do I need to tweak to make the fonts easier to read on the tv??

The fonts aren't going to be that easy to read. The resolution on a TV is much lower than a monitor.
Try displaying in 640x480 and see how it looks.

640x480??
*shudders*

man, was hoping it was just a font setting or dpi setting that I could muck with to get things looking better. Oh well.
Thanks,

~Kyle

S-Video is definitely the connection preference to use (over composite; gawd composite tv out on a PC video card is hideous and text is unreadable).

You could also try increasing the font size...it's somewhere under the Display properties.

When I used to use my tv as my display, I could select 800x600 as well as 640x480...by all means, if you can pick 800x600, do it.

..I tried up-ing the dpi resolution to.. I think 90 or 92dpi, and I _think_ it helped a little bit, but it's still fuzzy.. It's sorta like looking at a computer that has cleartype/etc font disabled when you're used to looking at one with it enabled. Oh well, moved back to my monitor, which was a huuge pain in the ars... I'll have to remember not to setup the TV as the primary display whilest the monitor is disconnected..... I ended up having to wheel the TV into my room and use it to switch everything back to the way it was.. guess I screwed something up, or just plain forgot to switch things back for the good 'ol CRT. ~Kyle

I have my computer hooked up to my 55" big screen don't use it much, but I have to run 640X480 and increase the font size. It is readable, but using it for any length of time and I would go

So I take it you have been using it for significant lengths of time recently.
