Whenever I boot my laptop Dell 8600 with XP Pro SP2 I get the message in the title line. There doesn't seem to be anything wrong with the way the computer responds and when I click okay in the dialogue box it's like it was never there.
Googled this and get Linux references but it's a straight XP HD. Was wondering if anyone could shed light on this. Thanks! |

Well, that call certainly exists in the Windows environment.
I found some info in this document mentioning that this is checking for a change in a file (possibly for some syncronization). Have you checked all your startup processes to see if it might be related to something there?
