PSU Recommendation

I'm running an AMD64 3200+ with 1GB or Corsair XMS memory, and an ATI Radeon x800xt in an Antec P180 case with an Asus A8N-E motherboard (PSU Connector is at the top right).

Currently I have an OCZ Modstream 520W Power Supply I'm unhappy with.

Honestly, the wires aren't long enough, and the modular design has very thick wires that are difficult to bend around the case as needed in the P180.

I'd like to get something better suited to the case, and still be able to handle my hardware.

I'll eventually be installing a TV tuner in this computer and using it do record TV shows when I'm not around so I'd like to make sure I get a stable PSU.

Any recomendations would be greatly appriciated

i'd find a Enermax powersupply. Compare prices on the Enermax Noisetaker (485-Watt Power Supply) or Enermax Whisper 2 (535-Watt Power Supply). both of these i think will work very nicely for you!

I reccomend that you just get some cables to extend the reach of your PSU.

the psu I have now has extenders. That's just one more thing I don't want to deal with.

I'll take a look at the Enermax, thanks

I'm still a fan of Antec power supplies myself...

Hauppauge 250 or 350 series. You may find a software bundle for recording the shows somewhere.

Leadtek makes some of the best cards. Take a look at the PVR 2000

the one thing i'm hating about my super-flower PS is how LONG the cables are. if you're looking for cheap, i've seen them expire on ebay with no bids at 10 bucks. don't think that's because no one wants them lol, i think it's because they're not as well known. mine's the quad fan 520 one, i think one like that would work great for you except it has no pci-e plugs, but you can buy the adapters at newegg.
if budget doesn't matter, definatly get a turbo-cool. those are the dream power supplys.
