Computer help needed

Too complicated to put in topic.

Ok, up until today, the last time I did this specific thing, this worked and suddenly it isn't. So it is some setting I changed, I think. Here's what I want to be able to do:

I have 2 browser windows open (Firefox, just FYI). The back one (Window A) is maximized. The front one (Window B) is not. It's open but only about halfway up. I want to be able to hover my mouse over Window A and scroll down on my scroll wheel and have it scroll down. But I want the focus to remain on Window B.

Does that make sense?

Right now, I can have it either where it brings Window A to the front and focus and it scrolls or I can have it where it stays in the back and focus and scrolls. But I can't figure out how to get it to scroll and keep focus on Window B. And I KNOW I had it working like that before. *cry*

TIA!

The easy way to accomplish what you want to do is to get a nice dual monitor set up. That you way you can look at your 2 sites and do what you want.

What you need is a program that allows you to set any window to be "always on top". I did some searching -
This one looks like it might do it, and it's free.
Here's another that's free.
This program is $5.

Note: with any of these, you'll have to set you "priority" window to be always on top. You can then click on (or switch to) a "lower" window (assuming the always on top window is not full screen) and scroll, type, etc. while the priority window is still on top.l

Very strange. Had to uninstall the first one. I would play a video on bsplayer with it running and bsplayer would give me an error. When I would close that program, I'd get a Windows Explorer error. bleh.
