serial hard drive
I just ordered a serial ata hard drive. I want to use that as my primary drive. Is there a trick to having it set as the primary/boot drive, or do i just plug it in and let it fly? Like do I have to change something in the BIOS or anything to switch from a regular ata to a serial ata boot drive? Thanks!

You might have to install drivers when you are doing your OS install.

yup. and if that ends up being the case, you will need a floppy drive. i've tried in so many different forms (CD drivers, slipstreamed drivers, etc) to try and get my new OS install to work to no avail. If you end up figuring out how to do it, I would be very interested.
