MS Office Scrolling Issue
OK..so I'm running excel and using the scroll wheel on my logitech cordless mouse to move vertically down my spreadsheet. After a while, for some strange reason, the scrolling action inexplicably starts moving horizontally. What's also weird is, I also have Access open it's doing the same thing.
Any guesses?

Interesting...
This horizontal scrolling doesnt translate to any other programs? i.e. a web-browser or something like that once it's already started the horiz. scroll? If it does this in other programs, you may want to check to make sure you dont have a stuck scroll-button/wheel-button. Occassionally pushing down on the thing can be setup to toggle vertical/horizontal scrolling. Now that I mention it.. a double-click'd scroll button should do that, someone go write the code to do that! ![]() Other than that, it sounds like a M$ problem, in which case I'm not sure what to tell yah. ~Kyle

did you check for a software update at logitech? It may fix the problem but it could be worth the try..

It only seems to affect office applications. IE isn't affected.
If I close the programs and restart them, the problem goes away. |
