Okay, you need to give a lot more information. Is it taking 15 minutes for the modem to dial? Or does the modem initialize right off the bat but it takes forever to log onto aol? What kind of modem do you have? What os? What are some system specs?

Question Oh.

Lol,, Okay after it finally intilalizes, it takes about 15 minutes to log on. Its a Compaq Presario, and you know I'm not too good at the techinal stuff.. I have cleaned out the Internet Temporay Folders and the cache. I have heard that those things slow computers down.

Try a different number and if that doesn't do it, AOL is just shizznit. Seriously get a new isp. Most likely (98%) this is not because of your hardware, more likely the isp is flogged with users.
