Eggies in a Basket

Ingredients

1 Piece of Bread (white is perfered but wheat or grain based is ok too)
1 Medium egg (not the large egg cause they'll spill over)
1 Teaspoon butter (that or margerine)
Salt
Pepper

Cut out a circle in your bread (About the size of a handball, this isn't a science).

****The circle has to be large enough to hold your egg without it spilling all over the bread (you may have to do this once or twice to get the right size). ****. Eat the Circle you just carved out.

Now you should have a piece of bread with a hole in it. Butter one side of it.

Put the teaspoon of butter/margerine in a pan and let it heatup/melt/sizzle (low/medium temperature).

When butter/margerine has melted and the pan is warm/hot, put the UNBUTTERED side of the bread in the pan (butter side up).

Break egg and put it in the middle of the bread (perferably without the shell). You can break the yolk or not, its up to you.

Cook till egg has set, and flip with spachula (careful cause the egg will still be a bit.. well runny).

Cook otherside, put in plate, season with salt/pepper.

Once complete, blow up parliament in Guy Fawkes Mask.

Whole process from start to finish, 5 minutes.

Viva La Revolution

I've heard of this but I never remember to do it. I'm going to try to remember... and do it for my son on his birthday!

Thanks for the reminder Pemolis!

Its less messy.
Doesn't require cinnamon or much of any ingredients.
You won't get "Scrambling Elbow".
and is alot faster and easier to make.

I don't think this'll stop anything though - the better you idiot-proof a system, the more impressive the idiot becomes.

Ain't it

Suprised me also that it actually had a good flavor to it (that and the coolness of the egg melding into the bread).
