Need craft ideas

So I picked up this very cute cd spinner stand from FreeCycle. But it really doesn't work very well as a cd holder. They don't fit well and kind of look strange when they are in there. So Scott & I were thinking of different ways to use it. (It spins, btw.)

We thought could get some transluscent paper and put it on there following the curve of the bars and stuff, then put a couple of lights inside and a mirror on top (well, the inside of the top) to reflect the light back down.

Or find some way to hook some tealight candles onto the bars, either inside or out.

We love the way it looks. So want to use it somehow if possible. But need some ideas!

You could put an edging around the bottom and use it as a bird feeder.

If you use plastic bags, you can stuff it with left over plastic bags after grocery shopping. They will stay contained and when you need one you just pull one from the slit.

You can use christmas lights either clear or the colored and stream it around it and have a weird light
