the morning after

we had the family over yesterday for a early thanksgiving (yes Thanksgiving). we have a wedding in two weeks in indy. then the in-laws are leaving from there to florida for the winter. so we got everyone together yesterday. its great having everyone over. its just the mess you have to deal with after. we put the leftovers away but that was about it.

i walked into the kitchen and go OH MY GOD! what a pile of dishes first thing this morning. the double sink is overflowing with plates to be washed, pans on the stove and in the oven, and the table has a bunch of stuff still on it.

wife is going to hate me tosince i have a job to work on today in an hour. and the dishwasher is all hand washing. wife doesn't like dishwashers, so its going to be fun in the kitchen today!

lol Thanks now I know what I have to look forward to. I'm having Thanksgiving at my house this year for the first time. Now I'm not looking foreard to it.

that is one reason my whole family uses paper plates and cups so you only have the pots and pans to clean up.

I love thnaksgivnign and can't wait to get away for the weekend and head to indy to see the hubby's family.
