Recipes

I am working on my food list for the upcoming 2 weeks. I am looking for very easy recipes, that also are easy on the budget. I don't want anything with 15 spices as I don't have a lot of spices and they are expensive to buy. So simple spices. Easy on the Peppers, Onion, Things that are easy to customize would be good. Cause I have 5 people with very different tastes to feed, so the more I can customize it the better. So toss your idea out. Thanks.

That's what we've been using the last month or so. Customize your menus to the sales at the grocery stores that week, so do most of your shopping week to week if you can. Use coupons if you have them, and when you shop the sales, you can save a bundle! (Buy 1 Get 1 Free Boneless Skinless Chicken Breasts & Pork Loins & Chops, etc)

We spent $160 a few weeks ago for 10 days worth of groceries. Including things like pop, juice & paper towels, etc. It included food for breakfast, lunch & dinners for 16 days. That was $16/day for the 3 of us. Can't beat that with a wooden spoon!

wow that is a lot. I spend about $100 for 15 days of food, that is three meals a day for us.

I will check it out though. I had one of their cookbooks once and we really kinda liked the food in it. I just totally forgot about their website.

That really isn't that much. We don't use coupons at all, although we want to start, so with having 3 meals a day for 3 of us for $16, that is very good.
