I let you all know if the title of this post was correct some time tomorrow 11/24/2006.

My kid who is home for the week wanted me to get up at 4 am so we can go to Meijers for a Black Friday special. (Now if she sleeps in I'll be super happy) seeing I don't need to run out till 7am to Home Depot for a replacement drill. For some reason they don't design cordless drills to fall 2 storys to concrete and keep working even if they are Dewalts.

You didn't get that DeWalt drill? I heard that Ace Hardware uses Google Checkout so you can save an additional $20.

Well 4 stores and McDonalds in 4 hours.

First was to Meijers (which was a mad house with lines like a snake in the store and out) for a 20 inch stereo LCD TV for $99. Walmart was next and why I have no good reason to tell you. Bought some DVD movies and cloths for the daughter though and there was people and lines everywhere. Then to Home Depot-for my replacement drillno lines-more help then customers in the store. Lastly to OfficeMax-like Home Depot-more help than customers- went for $1.99 USB laptop light, and cd folder cases! Finally to McDonalds with a 3 car wait in the drive thru.

Everyone must be still in the long lines at Walmart, Meijers and other big ticket retailers like Best Buy. Forgot also had to fill up my truck with gas while was at Meijers-$2.25 gallon for regular today. 16 cent jump this week.

Oh on a side note there was one woman I felt bad for at Meijers-a customer. Yeah she was pushing 3 full shopping carts full of toys and gift items. One minute I'm thinking how sorry for her, next minute I'm like dayum-she is sure dropping some major coin.

Maybe I can have her add me to her shopping list. She really had some high priced TVs and stuff on her carts.
