300,000 fire sprinklers recalled for not working
manufactured by Globe Fire Sprinkler Corp., because the heads can deteriorate and fail to work during a fire. The company has received five reports of sprinklers failing to work during a fire.

The headquarters may be in Michigan, but the parts still could have come from China. (article cannot be found at link).
