it sucked. I am hot. Sweaty and miserable. I did however have some ice cream that made my blood sugar zoom. I'm such an idiot. I should have had a piece of fruit. My dogs-they are good. just in case anyone wanted to know.

Here the weather kept going from hot and sticky to massive thunderstorms and back again. Interesting but made it difficult to do much because of the heat. I have two 5 month old border collie puppies and another dog that require daily walks, usually try to make it last atleast 1 1/2- 2 hrs but pretty much had to drag them home so I wont be doing that again till it cools off a lil. Just gonna have to let the pups rough up the kids.
But this weekend will be great, Im taking my younger two kids to Toronto this weekend. Its their first time on a plane and the first time visiting T.O. so they are pretty excited. Should be great!

I did the wedding thing too... Ours was ~9 hours away right smack in the middle of Kansas. It was mid 90s but still felt better than St. Louis since there wasn't as much humidity.

I also managed to get myself covered in bites from chiggers (I counted 68) but that's another (very embarrassing) story.

Awesome weekend, had around a dozen good friends over for a party. Six of us camped out in the back yard on Friday night and 10 stayed over on Saturday. Cruelpupet and a few others were around for the whole weekend. Got my little brother drunk off his gourd on Fri night... luckily the vomit landed on the concrete patio and was just a quick hose job to clean up. Overall: good friends, good food beer and liquor, great conversations, fireworks, potato guns, bonfire. Fun stuff!

Drove to Atlanta (with my wife and son) last Saturday to take him to the Jr. Olympics Volleyball (his team is in the 16s division). They won all 3 matches the first day, but the seeding was royally screwed up and the second day they ended up in a pool with the eventual champion team and another that ended up in 8th. They almost beat the 8th place team (they would have easily if they had been playing at 67% of their ability, but they were just having a bad day), but losing 2 out of 3 matches knocked them out of further contention for the top 16 positions. They won all 3 matches the next two days and ended up in 17th (with a 10-2 match record - 3rd best of all the teams). We drove back home yesterday (Thursday).
