5 years
you know, lately i been thinking...
it's been 5 years since i came out here from sunny sandy eggo. i don't think everyone really knew for sure, but a lot suspected the reason for the move. but- myth confirmed. i came out here to be with a girl. and what a 5 years it's been. life has its ups and downs. so i won't say it's been perfect or anything like that. but overall it's been good. and i have no regrets about moving here. my girlfriend is the only girl i've wanted to be with for the last 5 years. i've always wanted to say something about it. but whenever i try, all i can really say is "wow." i mean, i've said here a few of the things that we've done over the years. so we've done a million things together. and a lot has been implied. but when it comes down to it, i guess "wow" really says where i'm at with it. you know, the "wow" that you say when a lot has happened and you want to tell the world. the "wow" that you say when you're overwhelmed with something. the "wow" that you say when words can't really express everything there is you want to say. it's not that there isn't anything to say, but i guess the feeling of awe precedes it all. thanks for listening

So... 5 years eh? Any plans on getting married then?
I'd figure that you guys know each other pretty well by now... and if she still makes you say "WOW", then maybe she's the one.

That must have been a hard choice, but good job MOJO! I hope in continues to be great forever. It was funny, I actually playing in an ultimate frisbee league with a guy whose nickname is Mojo. But i dont imagine you considered moving from SD to LA a big life altering move.

thanks, everyone
yes, i consider myself lucky. especially considering what's happened in the past. and also considering that we didn't know each other as well when i initially moved out here (that's the short end of a long story). as far as marriage- that remains to be seen. but i agree, she's the one as far as i'm concerned. regarding ultimate frisbee...naw, wasn't me. i'd be in subordinate frisbee maybe. yes, i treasure every moment. even when things aren't so good, i look back (when it's said and done) and it comes out positive overall. |

previous relationship was probably about 5 years or less. but it started to go south about 4 and a half.
