Getting ready for the 3- day :D
Well, I have gained 5 lbs of Easter candy and we are eating like crap since I have been packing the house up. So it's time for a yardsale! (I am hopeful that the move-X2 will take care of the 5 lbs plus some
 )yep, yardsale on Saturday. It raised me a lot of money last year after you guys kicked me in the butt  and for donating to Susan G. Komen allowing me to reach that freaking goal  !This year, Kelly is going to sell with me so the money will be divided between the two of us. And yes, even from Oklahoma City, I will drive back here to Vegas and then continue on to San Diego with Kelly, Michelle and Ellen. I am also volunteering in Chicago at the 3-day event there! I am looking forward to that one because I found that my Mom's cousin's daughter is a 5 year survivor and they live in Chicago and we will get to visit with them and I haven't seen them since like 1982  AND it was so neat and encouraging to have the support of the volunteers last year during the walk that I WANT to be that for someone else.If anyone wants to sign up for volunteering or walking, I have a code that gets you $35 off your $90 registration fee! Yard sale went rather well.
We made over $500 - have a lot more stuff people are donating for the next one. We didn't sell stuff that normally goes - furniture, clothing. Sold a lot of books, movies and crappy toy bits. I have to divide the money this year with Kelly (at least on this yardsale and the next in May before we head to OKC) I dunno, I feel that I will have another in OK almost right away - we have had some stuff in boxes for so long, that apparently we don't need that stuff so might just sell it and rebuy if I need it ??? Need $1760 to reach my goal!!!  |
