Is a Whiny Voice a Sign of Professionalism?
I have written before concerning the whiny voice in many young women. It appears to be spreading to all ages but is has evolved into whiny AND choppy talk. Add to that very little emotion and a question at the end of most sentences.
Many women in the entertainment field on TV have adopted this highly irritating style and practically every receptionist at doctor's offices. Would someone explain why this kind of talk is rapidly catching on? I just don't understand it!! Whatevver  |
