My April disney trip!

first off I'll let you all know. I will be adding to this thread over a couple of days.
we stayed for 2 days in a Disney Hotel(a suite in all star music )good news for all non smokers. all rooms are smoke free and a $250 to $500 up charge if they even see you smoking outside your room.they have 1 outside smoking area and you know to use it only. they make it very clear when you sign in.
when we sign in we arrived early .they gave us are key cards that also work as are park passes .and a slip with a no.to call to tell us later what are room no was. they told us what building and were to park. your card good from that moment till the end of your stay.it is also used for the food package and anything you buy in the park. they have you use a credit and add $500 so no need to bring credit cards or cash with you. you just give the cashiers your card and its billed to your card.they ask you ifyou want the kids to be able to use there cards the same as you. so be careful if you say yes to allow the kids this freedom.(you understand later)
so we went and hit the pool.there was a towel cart and you used your card to get in the changing rooms and bathrooms so it was fine also lockers in there if you wanted to use them we didn't do.not sure if they had a extra charge on the lockers or not sorry . about 2 pm our room was ready for us.
it was very clean (spotless in fact )
we took are stuff up and back to the pool we went.
they keep ( Disney )kids entertained they do hourly or bi- hourly contests for the kids at the pool and at night they bring out this monster size inflatable tv screen and play a first run disney kids movie.the kids can watch from inside the pool. the pools close at midnight. they have a group of workers who come in every day and powerwash down the area and clean the pool and area !

we went to downtown disney this night . took a free bus from front of the hotel. all the disney parks have free bus service from here. we walked around a little looked in some shops and then eat at Planet Hollywood .i had ribs they were Great. we got a $15 off coupon in are package that was like the tip .but this place is unreal if you not been to one to see inside all the movie stuff . they also gave us a free coupon for a gift .in 2008 it was a tee shirt .this year it was a keychain and 10% off anything in the gift shop there. i say we drop $150 on the meal after using the coupon.

day 2
6:30 -7:00 am have to run into gift shop for sun screen ,and ankle socks -walk out $24 plus dollars less. the kids mom bought dollar store sun screen now kind look like tomatos

so that was $10 for a 4 oz bottle of copperstone .and $12.50 for a 2 pair pack of socks. also go in and buy free refill 12 oz plastic cups with lids at restaurant that are only refillable in the resort area we are staying $25 or $28 forget what it was total for the cups. but sure better then per drink cost. if buy more then two or 3 pops .so a ok deal and they get to keep them.
at around 10 am they get up and moving .we take a bus to magic kingdom. do some rides and shows .at 2 pm we go to lunch at pedos bills for burgers and BBQ sandwiches . we swipe are room cards at what looks like a ATM machine and place are orders.then walk up to the line and pick up your order .and go find a table to sit at. this place happens to have a seating capacity of 1107 I happen to spot the sign.at just this one joint . know keep in mind theres like 22 fast food type restaurants in just this one park .and its packed with us and other waiting to find a free table. this go's on most the day $$$$$$$$$$$$$ they are raking in.
after lunch we go do some more rides and then take a monorail to Epcot a different park . we have a 8:45 sit down dinner reserved.
its maybe 5:30 6:00 and we get in the park .first thing we do is run and get fass passes for the Test Track a neat ride . we get are fast passes there for 8 pm. so we find other rides to take.and get then run to fast track and get right on the ride .
then its time for are dinner .we run to the back of the park .fine Teppan Edo Restaurant. we didn't know what to exspect really. it was a wonderful suprize .the workers or all in native japan attire. and i think of japan decent. the building inside and out looks like a japan as you exspect .were to have a Japaneses steak house dinner. if you go all i say its the best and you wont be sorry at all! i had steak ,wife and daughter had chicken ,nephew shrimp ,and neice something off the childs menu . wife and daughter also had Suki -all booze is not on the plan so extra. you get desert but were all to full after are meals.after dinner we went back to are hotel .wife and I just soaked are feet in the pool daughter crashed party pooper she is at 25.and kids swam for a bit it was already like 11:00 by the time the bus got us back.

day 3

at like 8 am i go out of the room and find are final room bill on the door. it has a couple of extras we charged no biggie or anything we forgot about. i get back wake up the gang and start packing are stuff up .around 9:30 we get a call they are asking nicely i may say. when we think we be out of the room we say 10:30 and alls ok . we load up all are junk and take it to the car .more out then we came with i may say.(stuff we bought the last 2 days )we leave the car its allowed to stay were we park it till the park closes so like midnight. and we hit front of the lobby area and grab a bus to Hollywood studios - (use to be called MGM studios ) we see a couple of rides and look around .
then take a bus ride to Animal kingdom here we run right to the expedition Everest for a fast pass . then do some more rides .we take lunch at sit down restaurant tusker house its a buffet all you can eat .wife and kids like this place. me i was not so fond of the food. the food was ok but not special like the night before.
then we went and did more park rides .are fast pass tickets wouldnt let us ride till like 6 pm -7 pm we find a get a snack and its ride time .this rides a must if you like roller coasters .
after this we do a safari ride and make are way out of the park and to the bus back to are hotel .
we get back and use are last fast food meal for burgers and fries and drinks at the restaurant there .then off to are car and head back to clearwater (inlaws place ) were all tired glad wife drove

thoughts if i do it again .
1st - allow for more days in the park a min of 4 days - 5days really.
2nd - dont go at spring break the place is packed
3rd - stay on site again with the meal package again.
4th - wear good walking shoes .and make sure they are broke in.
5th - a 1/2 at hollywood studios is plenty. univeral studios is better just a fyi.
6th - dont buy sun screen from a dollar store.and remember to pack plenty of socks.
7th - there are 2 water parks that cost extra to go to.(not been to them ) but my daughter has in the past and liked them she said .
8th - bring a camera with extra batterys and spair flash cards.
9th - plan on having a great time

yeah i took my son last june and it was awesome. although my food bill at the end of the week was just crazy i charged everything to the room

That's good. I smoke, but I try to be respectful to others and I never smoke near children. I'm trying to quit and have gone from a pack a day to about a pack a week, but I don't know if I can make a whole day without smoking yet.
