Philly area child picks wrong car, wakes up in Wilmington, Del.

WILMINGTON, Del. (AP) - Delaware State Police say a 4-year-old Pennsylvania boy woke up in Wilmington after a road trip in the wrong car. Police say the boy climbed into a car outside his relatives' house in southwest Philadelphia, because it looked like his mom's car. Shortly after midnight Tuesday, police responded to a Wilmington business where a woman who had driven from Philadelphia found the boy sleeping in her back seat. Police began searching for the boy's family. The boy's mother, meanwhile, filed a missing persons report in Darby. Police say the boy's mother had dropped him off with relatives who didn't realize he had gone outside. No charges are expected. |

At age 4 I would NEVER let DFJ go outside the house alone...
Seriously, those "relatives" were NOT watching the kids. If I were that boy's parent, I'd be PISSED with them for letting him go outside alone, much less him getting into someone else's car.

i feel for the parents and for the woman who found him in the back of her car.i know from being a parent kids can sleep hard when on a car ride.
