love the story dude. and for being 6 years out of the game, you did well.

Anyways, I would go for #1 because:

1. If you're really looking for a serious relationship, meaning, leading to marriage, you not only marry the girl, but you marry the family. If she has a cool brother that you totally get along with, that's a big plus in future family gatherings (i know, i'm going way ahead of where we were...but, with the info you give, it's not totally out of left field).

2. if the two girls know each other, and are somewhat friends, #2 isn't being much of a good friend by being all over you after you came out honest. if she was a good friend, then she would've given you over. the way she acted afterwards tells me that she's being a bit competitive (and annoying in my book) with you in seeing if she can beat out #1 to get you.
