Birthday Gift Help
Ok, here’s the situation:
This girl I know has a birthday coming up. She's sort of an acquaintance/friend. She's older than me, single and has a young daughter. Well, I thought that I’d make her a gift this year. Now I’m not known for being artistic at all but I was going to draw her portrait. It’s something that would be obvious that I spent a lot of time on since no one knows I can draw so I’m not sure how she would react. Alternatively I could draw her a portrait of her daughter, but again, I’m not sure what kind of reaction I’d get. Do you guys think I should tone it down and give something a little less personal like the usual card/store-bought-gift? What would you think if you got this? |

by drawing a portrait of what's dear to her heart, youre actually getting yourself closer. and if her daughter likes you around, that would be a HUGE plus for you and her.
