How did you learn about the birds and the bees

I saw this quote (simpsons of course) at another website (shhh, don't tell GAM)

i realized that i actually don't know how sex is explained thru the birds and the bees. I learned through dirty joke books, and sex-ed class.

so i'm just curious to see how others came across this "knowledge".

btw, does anyone want to try to explain to me using the birds and the bees. just curious
