one of my favorite poems in the whole wide world
You are the sun rising through the darkest night
You give the reason to carry on though I'd thought I had lost my fight You are the desire that keeps me moving on You are that special feeling of a strengthing bond In you I see an ocean of smiles the way a blind man sees the sun You give that feeling of fulfillment after Sunday dinner's done You are the feeling of all my closest friends You have no beginning and seemingly no end You are the happy ending in the story of Queens and Kings You are the thousand doves born aloft on pearly white wings You are the comfy pillow that sits upon my bed Where every night I go to sleep, with thoughts of you in my head
