So last year a group of friends got together and threw a prom. It was cool, it attracted 150 people. THey spent all the money they got from the guests. Well they are doing it again this year and this year I don't have a date. I have a friend that I wouldn't mind taking. I realize this is probably petty because we are only friends but it still seems weird. I'm 25 she just turned 18. Should I take her to the prom?

Wait... what's the problem? If you think she would be interested in going, what is wrong in asking her? I mean... even if she isn't your GF, she is a friend and it sounds like it would be fun? So, what's the problem?
