i don't even know what to do with my extra time anymore. just paid my sales taxes due to the board of equalization. my roommate and his friend are sleeping after a day of the LA auto show, video gaming and movies. i feel like i should do something productive before they wake up and the fun begins again.

Here's what I do: Work (program), write blogger, play video games, water the plants, read a book, do homework, click refresh over and over on the got|apex page (someone has to be posting somewhere), fix things, etc

I really wish I could sleep. I need to start sleeping at regular times by next week because spring semester starts then. Having way too many strange dreams lately which could be teh cause of the sleep trouble

Day off today (MLK Day). I have one day off for President's weekend. Then I don't have anything until May. Of course, it's possible by the time May rolls around I could 1) be working in the same group 2) be working in a different division of GE 3) be unemployed or 4) be working at a record label because I was laid off.

It's 3am and i'm not tired. I'm not sure what I should do with this time. I would be inclined to call a friend on the east coast, but obviously it's still way too early over there. I don't have all my tax documents to file my tax return, so I can't do that yet either. I have finished organizing my personal documents and am in the process of ripping my CD collection again, but I wanted to do something in the meantime. I guess Got|Apex? will suffice for now...

2:30, and i'm still up. About once a year i like to go back and read some of my old posts. Brings back memories and also kinda lets me see how much i've changed since then. I realized I used to post like a madman back then... wonder what happened. Well I was reading and stumbled into the find hapoo a gf part2 thread. Its like watching a movie you know the ending to. Still hopeful, inspirational, and yet the ending is oh so disappointing. *sigh*

awake as usual, just got my new lyra a/v jukebox today, trying to determine the best quality video to size that i want to convert my files to to load on the jukebox....very tedious!

I just saw one of those in bestbuy. Hows the batterylife on that thing? It doesn't have a touchscreen, does it?

no it doesnt have a touch screen, the battery life seems like about 2.5 hours or more per charge will watching videos, i am not exactly sure, because i keep attaching it to the power adapter....converting my mpegs to a suitable avi file for this thing is a real pain, i cant find a free program that does it easily and I dont want to pay $30+ for a simple mpeg to avi converter. I am now using the output file option in TMPGEns and messing with those options till i get something that works on the jukebox!

Two tests on friday and I'm reaching panick mode I think. I really dont want to take both on friday and have the option of not having to take both. But my gf rather take both so I'm being forced to take them.
