Question How is this for an anniversary gift?

My wife was laid off of her job a few months ago and still hasn't found another job in her field yet. She has been getting a bit down about it lately, so how is this for an 3rd wedding anniversary gift to try and cheer her up?

I'm taking her here for the day to relax and play in the mud. Do the ladies here think this is a good idea?

Um yeah. . .definately a good idea! If she doesn't like it one of us would go in her place.

Believe it or not, but there are hot springs all over Southern California. Palm Springs is just one or the many places where they naturally occur. The reason for them is that due to tetonic plate subduction. The Earth's crust is much thinner here - about 15 miles thick versus a normal 50 miles for the rest of North America. That means we are much closer to the Earth's mantle and that means volcanoes, mud pots, hot springs, etc. The chemical makeup of hot springs varies widely and some may contain higher levels of Sulphur like in Paso Robles where the local hot spring in the downtown area started up again after the earthquake and really smells due the heavy sulphur.

I'm going with my wife because I have always wanted to go and enjoy the hot springs of Southern CA and just relax. As for colonics, I'll leave that to Ben Aflac.

After spending the whole day at Glen Ivy, I can say this:

Mrs. Kevster and I will definitely go again! We had a great time and afterward it was a unbelievably relaxing experience.

Guys - if you really want to pamper the significant other in your life, take them here! They will absolutely love you for it! (trust me on this one )
