Crustless Quiche from the frugal gourmet
1/2 c butter 10 eggs 1/2 c flour 1 tsp baking powder 1/4 tsp salt 1 lb large-curd cottage cheese 1 lb jack cheese, shredded Melt the butter. Whip the eggs until fluffy, and add the flour, baking powder, salt, cottage cheese, melted butter, and half the jack cheese.* Place the mixture in a greased 9x13-inch baking dish. Top with remaining jack cheese. Bake at 400 degrees (F) for 15 minutes. Then reduce the temperature to 350 degrees and continue to bake for 35 to 40 minutes, or until the top is lightly browned. Cool, and cut into squares for serving. *At this step add any special ingredients you like. (i like asparagus) |

Something with lime jello, marshmellows, whipped cream, and julianned carrots. That's always a party pleaser

I can't really think of any cold entrees. Cold soups, cold salads, cold side dishes, sure. But entrees. That's pretty tough.
