my dream was disturbing. i was hanging around with this guy who was totally psycho, but he was a distinguished music teacher. he would be doing crazy things and then the music would calm him. so whenever he started going psycho i would play music and he would snap out of it.
the whole dream was full of music.

i have the weirdest dreams, and can sometimes remember them. Lets see last night one of my friends was flying in his hot dog plane and got lost, and i was having a party with lots of hot dogs so i filled him up and sent him back to the hot dog factory. Then the party turned into a crazy sex party.
Then all the sudden everyone was fish and we were swimming in the ocean, and getting attacked by octopus until we found a door that said Dr. something on it and the octopus said: oh you want to go see Dr. whoever, just go here.

so me and all the other fish people started swimming there but then we couldn't get up on the beach because it was covered with sharp oyster shells and barnicles, so we jumped up onto a pier restaraunt, jumping from water glass to water glass.

Then i woke up and said what the F was that all about?

oh heck ya. i wake up super stressed, which made me tired all day.

i was on some swim team. and then i jumped onto a pull-up bar. but it bent under my weight. and some other junk. and i gave a friend a survey i made for my research to work on. but it took him like an hour. but all the surveys i've given out so far in real life have been meant to be finished in <5 minutes. sucks.

Hmm i just started dreaming again. I think its a consequence of not giving yourself enough time to fully rest. LIke i didn't dream for years, and then i met a girl who was really relaxing and when we would hang out and just chill before i went to bed, i would actually be so rested i would dream again.

I only end up with a general feeling as to whether the dream was interesting, or bizzarre, etc. My wife, on the other hand, remembers her dreams in great detail--especially the strange ones.

I was once eaten by a triceratops in a dream...

Also once, I fell in love with a girl, but before I could save her, the bad guys had turned her into peanut butter .

When I was about 12 or 13 I had a dream that ended with me looking at the face of a particular girl who was in my classes. After I woke up I immediately started havinig the biggest crush on her. That crush remained really until Ii graduated from High School with her. She never really liked me. I was not popular in grade school and high school .

If you wanna try a really cool/weird experiment..try this.
Keep a journal next to your bed and whenever you wake up and remember your dream write it down in as much detail as you can, no matter what time it is.

Then after a few weeks or so..go back and start reading what you wrote. At the time you write it, everything makes perfect sense to you..but when you go back and read them again..you're like..WTF?! I found a journal i kept when I was in High School. Kinda freaky to read them again. Everything seemed to come back with perfect clarity.

I started doing this when I was going through my divorce. Man, I had some whacked out dreams.

I still keep a notebook and pen nearby in case I want to remember a dream and I occasionally use some of this stuff in my writing.

A lot of my dreams are really just strange stream-of-consciousness (well, duh) stuff that would probably give an analyst a field day.

I only remember my dreams if I get > 7 hours of sleep. I had a really funny dream (a good contrast to the 80% bad dreams I usually have) last night. I don't think I've ever dreamed of G|A? before.

I met Cheapie. He was an elementry school teacher teaching at the place my mom used to teach at. The sign his class room door said "Mr. Cheapie" or something to that effect. I knew it wasn't his real name but I figured he might go by it with the school kids or something. It was after school and I walked into the class room and he was there with his wife. I said "Hi Cheapie" and his wife says "You must know him from G|A?" I said, "Yes but how did you know that if his name is outside the door." then Cheapie came to meet me and he said "You must be..." and I said "Infinitenothing" cutting him off. He said he would have guessed that. I told him my mom worked there and we went to meet her.

last night i dreamt that brentwood (la, ca) was in pennsylvania. i didn't actually see it here, i just knew it to be so and was like, wow!

lots of times when i'm half awake half dreaming i'll figure out a solution to something i couldn't in full consciousness, or have some other kind of cool realization. sometimes i'll even do math and write lyrics/music in my sleep. go freud
