Need a watch for my dad's birthday

My dad's birthday is coming up and I think he's going to be 60. He's had his eye on a watch that he saw. It's a Swatch Skin that's very, very thin and light. However, he thinks it's made out of metal, but it's made from plastic, and we all know Swatch is a cheap POS.

Do you guys know of any good watches that are very thin and light as well as stylish and appropriate for work? Oh, and I'm looking for something that's not too expensive, maybe under $150-200 (no Rolexes!)

TIA

I want one of these:

http://direct.msn.com/

But no service in my town.

I don't think it's very light, or terribly stylish. So basically this answer is completely worthless to you...

Best selection of watches is at Overstock.com

I've bought several from them, and all are great quality & VERY cheap for what you get.

Skagen - they are very light and not that bad looking.

As Jeffbx said, the Overstock watch section is very extensive and reasonable. You might like the Bulova Watches or the Lucien Piccard Watches.

I wear this:

Day to day. It's <$150 and it's titanium so it's light weight and durrable. It complements tan/brown skin well.

Skagens are light and has a very classic look.
Giving watches on birthdays mcs328 has mentioned to me a long time a go (this is superstition and an old saying) - is bad luck - it is like timing til you die or something like that.

Swiss Army watches are fantastic - I'm an old fan. Currently I have a titanium one from them but it's way out of your price range unless you can find one in overstock or something.

I like Skagens for their price. Their Ti watches are reasonable and super slim/light. Otherwise Fossils are nice but my friend broke two of them so I'm not certain about reliability.

I can probably break any watch you send my way if I tried

Seriously though, I have yet to have any problems with any of my Fossil watches.. they have all been wonderful.
I have had problems with the seal/crystal on my Skagan though..

as can be shown by your friend.. individual mileage may vary.

I'll second the vote on Swiss Army. They make a good watch - I have a decent collection of watches and I wear mine often when I'm not wearing my Geneva stainless/gold bracelet watch.

Check REI (www.rei.com) they have a lot of versitile, lightweight watches for sports and leisure.

A pocketwatch may be a nice gift too.

Good luck.
