My wife's planning a girl's movie night at our pad. Ideas?

My wife is going to have a party at our house in about 6 weeks. She hasn't sent out the invites yet and would like to have some sort of theme. She wants the time to include a nice meal, not necessarily a sit-down, and a movie-watching sleepover.

Any ideas? Keep them clean because a lot of the girls are from church.

TIA!

You can rent the moved Saved!! I saw it at target for $7.50. Or will they be really insulted by that movie? 6 degrees of Kevin Bacon. Make salads with Bacon bits. Have BLT sandwiches and Kevin Bacon movies.

I'm sure that's really healthy...Kevin Bacon movies eating bacon themed foods. Hollow Man, Tremors, Flatliners, Wild Things etc. For food there's also turkey wrapped in bacon, chicken wrapped in bacon, bacon and eggs sandwich, uhmmm...how many pieces of bacon can you stuff in your mouth. Get you Bake-On baking contest...yah that's a stretch.

Don't kid yourself. Those "church girls" can be real freaks. Ply them with a little wine and they'll start telling stories that would make Nickel blush.

Suasage wrapped in bacon...hehehe. Gee I got bacon on the brain now because I can't think of any other themes. Hmmm....I guess religion. Angel hair pasta, deviled eggs, angel food cake, buffalo wings, couple of rounds of Halo on Xbox, God of War, Gods Must be Crazy, Apocalypse Deux, Children Of A Lesser God, Exorcist, Saved, Dogma, Star Trek: The Final Frontier, old episodes of ER with Noah Wylie, Oh God You Devil, HBO's Angels in America...blah blah

Hah. I'd thought of something like that. Or take an offshoot of both of them: Christian Slater movies and holy foods: Donuts, Swiss cheese, Devil's Food Cake & angel food cake, etc. lol

Robin Hood: Prince of Theives
Kuffs
Untamed Heart (*cry* I watched this one at one of my slumber parties as a teen. Good movie.)
Interview with the Vampire (LOL)
Windtalkers

oooooh! good idea! how about a chocolate theme? Start off with Chocolat (Johnny Depp, yummy! ), Willy Wonka & The Chocolate Factory, The Chocolate War, etc. Some others I found online: http://www.surprise.com/food/chocoho...ate_movies.cfm She can have chocolate covered strawberries with some almond champagne, brownies, truffles, and whatnot. I'm sure she can find some food network clips about chocolate cooking.

Or have a Johnny Depp night, because he's just plain hot.

Could do barbecue stuff, since isn't barbecue big down in Memphis? Then have an Elvis night. Watch a lot of his movies, play some of his songs. And have some of his favorites, fried pb&b sammiches, etc lol

They could possibly watch all of the Sex in the City. But I don't know what they would eat during the watching.
