Have to enjoy the oh-so-outraged feminists reaction.

i can chuckle at both especially the first one, but the second one was a stretch. you don't have to be a "feminist" to know that not many women take picture hanging to that level of destruction.

Yes... we must hide the power tools with strict terms as to their "unsupervised usage".

I thought it was funny. If it was a guy hanging the picture I would have thought it as funny too. Some people just aren't mechanicaly inclined. They should never opperate any machine that requires anything more than pushing a few buttons. The joke was not that a woman was incompetant to operate a car, it was that a person's spouse was incompitant.
Why use a woman then? Well, a man's attention span is notoriously shorter... putting an attractive woman there was probably the best choice to get the most attention. You know a woman is more likely to watch another woman than a man is likely to watch a man.
So we have had comercials where mechanicaly incompitant men destroy a car or major portion of a house and it's funny. So when a woman does $20 worth of plaster damage it's an attack on women? Nope, it's funny and proof that some people just have no sense of humor.

Sorry nickel, I was responding to the attitudes I found on your 3rd link. I probably should have mentioned that...
