Question $150 for a bar of soap?????

Since there are so many Ebay items listed for people's enjoyment I thought I would list a few that I found interesting.

I think it might be people bidding on their own stuff for 15 sec of fame.

(top link auction details)
Selling a shampoo bottle that was in the shower with a woman is basically a way of getting horny prepubescent boys to bid on it.

But then - the kicker...
Quote:
So, I have bet her that it will not sell for more than ten bucks, and she has bet me that it will sell for probably much more than ten. Again, I think she's been inhaling too much nail polish remover or something.

The bet is, if it sells for less than ten bucks, she will do all the housework that we currently share doing, by herself, for a week. She will also be my personal slave for whatever errands, favors, or whatever else I want, for one week. If it sells for ten or more, I will be playing Mr mom around the house, doing all the work, and will be her personal slave for the week. I'm so sure that I am right and she is wrong that I upped the bet that she made with me. I told her if it somehow does sell for more than ten dollars, not only will I do what we agreed to, but if things get really crazy and it sells for 20 dollars, I will double the time and do it all for two weeks. I'll even go beyond that and say for each increment of ten bucks, over the initial ten, that it sells for, if it sells, I'll do another week. So if it's ten, I'll do a week, twenty dollars, two weeks, thirty dollars, 3 weeks etc. If there are enough people out there who think she's right and want to punish me and bid high enough, I could be a real busy guy for weeks to come. So what do you think? If you're not interested in bidding to choose a winner, at least please put us on your watch list and see how it comes out. Will I be her slave, or a really happy man? The choice is up to you.

People bid on it so the guy would lose the bet and be stuck cleaning the house for a couple weeks.

Meh. I used to check ebay pulse all the time, when it actually contained interesting stuff. Now its almost always nlrebel, woohoomysteryman and a few others selling the most riduculous things to ridiculous people. It's not even funny anymore.
