Decorating my room Photo Collage

OK I jut moved into a new apt and my bedroom walls are bare. My walls and ceiling are white and I have hardwood floor. On a wall I want to make a photo collage of sorts. I have 9 square picture frames and I plan on hanging them in a square orientation, 3 rows of 3. I am contemplating on what pictures to put in them. Should I do black and white artsie pictures, black and white pictures of me, family and friends or color pictures of me family and friends? I plan on printing these pictures ons square paper to reinforce the square image. These frames are 8"x8" and the pictures are 5x5.

Wow, thats a rather square concept... Now its your room, you gotta look at it every day so i kind of feel like you need to decide these things for yourself. But personally, i would go crazy if my white room had black and white pictures. I would recommend a brilliant display of colorful shots of flowers and nature.. hmm whats that an option? Well i would say bright colors to balance the black white wood of the room... but i also am known for painting one of my walls as a backyard of the amazon, and placing a collage of pictures and postcards on the other wall to make a picture out of pictures. And i inspired my friend to paint her ceiling light fluffy blue with white clouds floating by to help her fight her claustrophobia... so i'm a big color fan...

Good luck and let us know (see) how it turns out.

I say spice it up a bit. Put some color into the room. Do black and white in the living room for the artsy look, more people will see that than your bedroom

Get some 8x 10 paper and cut it square. Then get some magazines and cut out a bunch of 5x 5 pictures if that is the size you want to use (not that big of a picture) and put them on the paper. The subject doesn't matter. Have an assortment of b&w and color images. Then tape them up on the wall you want them on and see what you think looks good. After that you can pick out the actual ones you want. Or try something else if it doesn't work.
