FLORIDA CITY, Fla. -- An ATM thief stole not only the money but the entire machine. Surveillance video was recording as the thief backed a truck right into a convenience store in Florida City.

The suspect is shown getting out of the truck and then apparently loaded the ATM into the truck's bed and took off.

Investigators said the thief appeared to know exactly what to do.

"Notice you see the ATM machine right here, so he knew exactly where to hit the truck at. It wipes the ATM machine, everything out," said Detective Ezra Washington, Florida City Police Department.

Authorities said the man has struck several times in the Florida City area and could strike again
