As in does it have Burn-Proof protection and all those extra features?

i'm not sure how it compares to the plextor but it's definitely cheaper than the plextor. it works great for me. as for burn-proof, it doesn't have it but isn't burn proof only for IDE drive since they're the ones that are most likely to screw up if you try to multi-task?
