DEAL! DellSB.com - 15% Off Printers and Multi-Functions
I`ve just recently gotten into photography and such and migrated from Costco film development to Ritz. Sure, it`s more expensive, but GEEZ, what a difference in picture quality. Well, that and I now use a Canon Elan 7e with a 50mm/1.4 prime lense. I mention Ritz because they do their prints with a Fujicolor digital printer. I believe the process is first the standard C-41 development, then they scan the film and print it out. The image quality is so very nice. From the reviews I`ve been reading, the quality of these new photo inkjets have improved to the point where you can no longer tell the difference between them and photo labs. Here are two that caught my eye. First go to DELLSB.
- Epson Stylus Photo 785EPX for $169.11!!
- This printer got some GREAT reviews in terms of image quality. It also features borderless printing, which is pretty nice. Another great feature is the roller paper that allows your to make 4x6 color prints. There is also a Type II PCMCIA adapter built in. Check out the REVIEW. Do a search for 318010
- Canon S820D Photo for $339.96!!
- The Canon S820D is also an extremely nice printer. It doesn`t have the 4x6 roller paper like the Epson, but it can also print borderless pictures. This is probably your best bet of you have Canon A30, A40, A100, A200, S200, S330, S30, S40, G2, and EOS D60 cameras. Another great feature is that every single ink color is in a separate cartridge so if you run out of a color, you only replace that one cartridge. Check out the REVIEW. To get it, search for A0000900.
Tell you the truth, I am looking for a photo printer and I am torn between the two I listed. On one hand, I mainly use Canon products for imaging, but the Epson is a lot cheaper and the image quality is just as good. Ah, dilemmas... Either way, you can go wrong with either choices. Don`t delay, because these prices are pretty great and Dell is a great company to deal with. DELLSB
