This is one of Dell`s full sized Tower computers. It`s kind of nice
because it includes an AGP slot, so you can upgrade your video card in the
future if you so desire. I`d personally suggest these over the 4500s if
you have the space. Here`s what you do:

  • Start here at Dell Small Business Dimension 4500 Desktops.

    DELLSB

  • Click on Click here near the top under SELECT BASE SYSTEM New
    Dimension 4500

  • Click on Customize It under Advanced Technology, Dimension 4500
    $619

  • Add whatever options you want. The lowest cost options should be
already selected, and you should leave it at this if you want the final cost to be $425.10 after rebate. Here are a few upgrades you may want to consider
though, and remember, since there`s a 10% off coupon, prices there are 10% higher than you`ll actually be paying:

    • Pentium® 4 Processor at 2.40GHz with 533MHz system bus/ 512K L2 Cache
      [add $30] - (it`s actually only costing you $27, and you`re getting a
faster processor and a 533Mhz system bus instead of 400mhz.* We highly
      suggest this option)

    • 40GB Ultra ATA/100 Hard Drive [add $20]

    • 16x Max DVD-ROM Drive [add $30]

    • Free Verbatim DVD+RW Media,1 Disc - (hey, it`s free, why not?)

    • New 64MB DDR NVIDIA GeForce4™ MX Graphics Card with TV-Out [add $20]

  • Scroll to the bottom and click on Continue

  • Nothing should be selected here. Scroll to the bottom and click on
    Add to cart

  • Enter coupon code: 42AB04C56FE3 (expires 09/12/2002) for 10% off.

  • Finish checking out. Shipping is free. Send in the $150 mail
    in rebate (expires 9/12/02).

With the base offering, you end up with a final price of
$407.10
after rebate!* If you want the CPU upgrade to 2.4Ghz, you`re
only paying $434.10 after rebate.* With all of
the options outlined above (CPU, Hard Drive, DVD-ROM, and Video Card upgrades) all for just under $100 more than the base 4500 desktop. Well worth it! Your price after rebate would be just
$497.10!
