This is one awesome digital camera. I`ve been wanting something like this for a while. The lense on the F707 is an amazing Carl Zeiss™ Vario-Sonnar. Well, let me just post the specs:

  • 2/3" 5.0 MegaPixel Super HAD™ CCD Image sensor, 5.24 MegaPixel Gross
  • Carl Zeiss™ Vario Sonnar 5X Optical zoom lens with f2.0 maximum aperture, 10X Precision Digital zoom
  • 46-step Shutter Priority (30 sec f 8.0), Full Manual Exposure
  • Multi-pattern measuring exposure system, Center-weighted averaging and Spot meter modes
  • Night Shot™ Infra-red illumination system, NightFraming infra-red assist helps composition in adverse lighting
  • Through the Lens (TTL) pre-flash metering
  • MPEG-HQ (High Quality) 320x240 Audio/Video mode with 16fps full screen playback and hi-sampling rate audio

Those were just some of the more interesting specs. Seriously, folks, it`s all about the lense. OneCall has the camera for $717.13, which is just a little higher than some places, but you are getting a full retail box version from an AUTHORIZED retailer. You fun the risk of getting a grey market version if you do decide to go the cheapest route. I`ve tried that before and believe me, it`s NOT worth it. If you have an AMEX Corporate Gold Card, you can get the best of both worlds if you do a price match and get it for $569.

  • You need to make this purchase with your American Express Corporate Gold card. Why? Because they allow you to pricematch a product up to 60 days after your purchase, up to $250 per item, up to $1000 per year. They also ignore things such as tax and shipping (at least last time I used pricematching). If you don`t have one, get one, there`s no annual fee. AMEX
