Unfortunately, Dell has pulled the Special Edition laptops, but they might come back someday. I`m am not sure when that will be, though. Until then you can config the regular Inspirons which have options the Special Editions didn`t. The 2650 I have configured here has the cheapest options available, but feel free to add anything you think you might need. I recommend going with a DVD-ROM.

  • UPDATE: Some of you have asked if the $100 rebate is good with the 2650C Inspiron. This version is with a Celeron processor and it doesn`t look like it is eligible. First of all, the rebate form only states the 2650, 4150, and 8200. There is no 2650C specified. Second, when you go to customize the 2650C, there is no field for the $100 rebate.
