    Talking

I figure there's enough car nuts on this site that have massive insane sound systems in their car to have plenty to talk about. So to start, what's the most impressive sound system anyone's installed in their vehicle of choice? I'm kind of space-limited in my old 944, but I managed to stuff 2 MTX Thunder 7000 10"s in the back, with two 300-watt Rockford Fosgate amps and an Alpine CD deck up front. Gotta replace the front speakers next.

I duct taped a walkman to the dash. It's tight, when I put the super bass on it really turns heads!

    Cool Kenwood baby!

Aight...i drive a 1990 Nissan Pathfinder, so space is NEVER a problem. The stock head unit hit the weeds a week after a purchased the car, so i put a sony unit in there...only temperarily until i bought a nice kenwood kdc 6011 in dash cd unit with a 10 cd changer. the speakers are sony mobile es 6.5 inch in the front, and 6x9 polks in the rear. it's a ppi 75x4 powering the speakers, and a 400x1 fosgate amp turning power to a sealed 12" JL audio sub.

    enjoy!

Ahh yes, gotta get that dynamat stuff - it really works. I haven't installed it yet in my Porsche cause its so damn expensive, but I put it in my mom's old station wagon, and she says it's great for when she's listening to books on tape! Heheh...

Hey Badfish I always wanted to do that but never got around to doing it. What kind of duct tape did you use? I already have a tape player so I was thinking about taping my Diskman on to the steering wheel.

Well ucbstan, I went with the black stuff to match the interior but if you are restoring a car you may want to use good old fashion silver for that clasic look
