    Angry

I am running into problems with my comp, and I can't tell for sure what it is, but I think it is hardware. Either something conflicting with another piece of hardware, or something with the software. I doubt it is th software though, because I have changed operating systems several times and still have the same errors. I have the following hardware, and I am wondering if anyone sees any glaring conflicts or has some suggestions:

    K6-2 400
Micronics MB... I think it is Ali chipset
    NEC Ram
ATI Xpert2000 32 meg vid card
Seagate 6.4 gig and WD 30.7 gig
    Toshiba 12x-40x DVD Rom
    Plexor 8x-4x-32x CR-RW
    Soundblaster Live! value
    Generic 10-base T ethernet card

If anyone can see anything that might be wrong with this, please let me know, otherwise I am thinking of just getting another MB, and if so, does anyone have some good suggestions for Socket 7 motherboards? Thanks..

One thing you might want to check is to see if your motherboard came with a cd that had fixes on it. My board had hardware conflicts until I popped the cd for the mobo in and it resolved all of the IRQ conflicts. I'm not exactly sure if that is your problem, but it another idea.

Thanks guys... I think I am just going to upgrade my mainboard though. It didn't come with a cd and there are no IRQ concflicts, so something else has to be going wrong. At this point, i just want a stable system.

    Thumbs down micronics MB

I used to work on a number of the motherboard you have. It would for the life of me not take any network cards. If the problems your having doesn't involve the NIC try removing it and see if the same thing is happening.
