This is not allowed. We try and catch this when it happens, but we may miss it sometimes. ANY reference to referral programs, whether you put a referral link or not, belong in the correct forum.

even though that the referal id is not in this post, but you are pointing to a referal id in the spam forum, isn't this the same thing as putting the referal id in this forum, indirectly that is? to me is the same as advertising a spam.

i am trying to alert people of a deal. using my referral is not mandatory - i've seen others do the same in this forum.
...of course, it would have helped had i included the website on this post. oops. it's http://www.freeride.com
