Most of the reviews are done on 600+ PIII's an Athlons. Anyone out there using a Radeon on a P2? How's it do?
I have a P2-400 (o/c-ed to 470)

You can get the most of the performance from Radeon only if you have high-end computer and that's why most of the benchmarks use Pentium III 800, 1G and etc. Like you mentioned, you have a PII 400. I'd suggest you to get a GeForce2 MX or GTS 2.

...I guess I'll be asking for a GeForce 2 MX for Christmas. Hm...any good deals out there...?
Do you want a dual-head or just ordinary GeForce2 MX?

The video output...doesn't really matter. I must have TV-out via composite, but that's my only requirement.
I wish there was a clear "you have to buy this card!" feeling, but it isn't there. I thought Deus Ex would be the killer ap that made me get a new video card, but it ran like a wet dream on my voodoo2's.

Deus Ex is one of the best games I have ever played, edged out only by Jedi Knight as my favourite FPS.
Hmm...A silencer upgrade...perhaps for my sniper rifle...CAP CAP CAP CAP

I didn't notice that when I played Deus Ex.Originally posted by sbp
Deus Ex runs like crap on non-3dfx cards.
My system setting:
PIII FC-PGA 600E OC 900
ASUS P3V4X
128MB Mushkin PC133
CL GeForce2 GTS
SB Live! Value
I ran a Radeon on my roomate's PIII 500, and it was crappy. Could barely tell the difference from a Voodoo3. On my Duron 650 (overclocked to 800), the card is sooooo much better. Unreal Tourney, here I come.
