This deal is a little
more expensive than the typical desktop configuration we feature, but
you`re getting some great bonuses. The Precision 380 x64 is Dell`s
latest workstation class computer, with Microsoft Windows XP
Professional x64, 3.0Ghz Intel Pentium 4 630, 64MB nVidia NVS 285 PCIe
x16 video card, 80GB S-ATA HD with 8MB Buffer, 48X CD-Rom, HD Audio, and
a huge 3 year warranty! Here`s the kicker: it comes with 512MB of
memory, but for just $150, you can upgrade to a full 4GB of DDR2 SDRAM
at 533Mhz, a $900 value! However, we`d suggest going for the 4GB of
667Mhz ECC memory for $180 (that`s just $30 more),
a full $1180 value!
The memory is worth
more than the entire computer cost!

  • Update: to answer some
questions: Yes, you can use it like you would a normal desktop
computer. It`s very similar to the high end Dimension 9100, except
it uses the even higher end Intel 955x chipset instead of 945p, and
goes through extra certification testing. This makes it normally
more expensive than the Dimension 9100, but in this case, the extra
promos really tilt the value in this direction.

  • Update 2: Sorry folks, the
4x memory for free promotion is now over.  Deal is now dead.
Congrats to everyone who got in on it!
