I was thinking of buying this printer for home use. It seems to be a good deal, for $150 it has 1200x2400res 15ppm black and 7ppm color. Anyone have any experience with it? Any recommendations for a better printer in the range of up to $200 - $225? I need color, so a monochrome laser is out of the question.

    Thanks!

Lexmark printers is owned by IBM. They don't use the IBM name because IBM doesn't want the Lexmark products to be associated with IBM. They are extremely low end. If someone gave me one for free I waould take it and use it untill the ink ran out then throw it away. It's not worth the cost of the ink.
Buy a refurbished Cannon, HP, or Epson if you want to save money. But pass on a Lexmark.

Take it for what it's worth.
