prolem with Iiyama monitor

I just received the 19" monitor that IIyama sells for $265. I just started it up and already the picture is fluctuating. By this I mean the desktop will be full screen, all of a sudden the picture will scrunch up on the sides, and gradually work its way back to full size. I was running it at 1152 x 864 and the specs say it is good up to 1600x1200. Has anyone had this problem before? Is 1152 x 864 a bad setting for this monitor? I have been using 1024x768 and so far, no problems.

sounds like a power problem...either the monitor has a bad power feed, or your multitap is buggin out.

well I don't seem to be having this problem with higher resolutions so I guess I'll just have to stay away from that one setting. Thanks for the help anyways LPM.
