    A PAIR OF GRANDSTAND TICKETS TO GO TO THE MIRAMAR AIR SHOW ON FRIDAY, OCTOBER 12TH

    “Thunderbirds over Miramar – The Sound of Freedom,” this year’s Miramar Air Show again welcomes the U.S. Air Force Flight Demonstration Team - the Thunderbirds.

    Other military hardware flying the air show includes the AV-8B Harrier, F-117 Nighthawk Stealth Fighter, the F-15 Eagle, the F-16 Fighting Falcon, the USN F/A-18 E/F Super Hornet, and the F-22 Raptor. The world-famous U.S. Army Golden Knights Parachute Team always impresses the crowd with their aerial stage show, and they’ll be back again in October!

    One of San Diego’s biggest and best known public events, the Miramar Air Show offers three daytime matinee shows from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and the Saturday Twilight Show, from 5:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. This year’s air show dates are Oct. 12, 13 and 14. Gates open at 8 a.m. daily. The Saturday Twilight Show will feature aerial pyrotechnics, burner passes and a spectacular fireworks display. The Great Wall of Fire will end the show.

    The Miramar Air Show is open to the public. Parking, admission and blanket seating are free. Upgraded preferred seating options including exclusive catered seating areas, are available. For preferred seating information, go to www.miramarairshow.com or call 1-877-772-5425. To speed your entrance into the flight line area, large bags, backpacks, ice chests and coolers will not be permitted. It is recommended that spectators minimize the number and size of permitted items to reduce the inspection time prior to access into the flight line area.
